A Letter From Beyond the Veil

By admin, 1 September, 2009, 1 Comment

August 29th, 2009 A Day without turning on my computer.

A Letter From Beyond the Veil

To My Fellow Americans, my blessed family and kindred patriots,

I am writing you tonight through the vessel of one of my many great grandchildren. I know he will get this right, but forgive him his need to be creative.  If I could sit with each and everyone of you I would be blunt and clear in my message.  However, Chad Theodore will get long winded with my words and ad some imagery for those inclined to that nonsense.  Love the boy and very proud of what he has been able to accomplish, but there is nothing wrong with just getting to the point.

Today I see you in the fight of your lives!

I don’t know if you know allot of mine.  But I fought a real good Fight of my own in my day.  Yes, it seemed as if the whole world turned against me.  Even my family and neighbors I was always there for, believed what was said about me.  The Irony was that it was not I who was the traitor.  I loved Christ with all my heart, I loved my neighbor and enjoyed the abundance and joy of being charitable.  My name meant something before the slander began.  But that is all the tempest that rages when your life can focus on one decision at one point in time.  Either you stand with the right, the good and Christ or simply put you don’t.  Faith gives us the strength to have no fear when the tempest gathers its momentum.  What I am trying to say plain and simply is that you have to have faith!

Chad Theodore is feeling the need here to give you more then you really need.  It is a real challenge to reach out from paradise to work with my own flesh in my great grandson as a vessel to try to get this message out to my beloved countrymen and women.  So here it is real simple, then I will let Chad Theodore’s creative imagery flow.

First, YOU have to have faith.  Remember God is still in control here!

Second, Our beloved country is in a real world of hurt.  YOU need to get active!

Third, Socialism, Communism, Nazi aand Islamic Fascism and Radicalism even in our own party and movement need to be defeated at all costs, but save your soul!

I pray that encourage your resolve, sets your mind at ease and focuses you on the task at hand.

Approach this fight like you should approach your Faith in God.

Let it be with your whole heart.
Let it be with a calm cool mind.
Let it be a daily task that does not consume.
Let it be joyous and meaningful as you enjoy the process.
Let it be shared with others and done with laughter.
Let it be abundant.
Let it be contageous in its inspiration!
Let it be BOLD COLORS.

There he goes again, sorry Chad Theodore, just had to reign you in a bit.  Three simple things I want Americans to remember as you go forward into this fight:

1. Have the faith to move mountains because God is Always in control.
2. You are in for the fight of your lives, get active and on the offensive here!
3. This is a fight of Principalities, Good vs. Evil and your decision you make at that place and time here in the near future will define who you are.  Choose Christ and the good, do not be deceived by the seductive tempter.

E. W. I have to break in here to ask you one thing I have wanted to ak since I was a child.  Many in our movement and this country do not even know if they believe in God.  How will they be able to choose between Good and Evil?

Chad Theodore, you are going to get me in trouble with my Lord and Saviour here.  I only was given permission to share with you these three things.  But let me just ask you this, Do you think humanity has a choice in knowing God? Even the stones of the feild will cry out his name.  Have faith that in that moment God is there and even though the seductive deceiver has his hold and sway God is known.  You are facing an enemy like even I have never seen before.  This generation will be tested beyond measure but have faith, enjoy the struggle and choose good and Christ always.

When I was 9 years old I faced and sailed across an endless sea for you to know freedom and liberty and to worship the God that has blessed us all with such great love and abundance.  The ship has left the port.  You all will have to sail and ride it now until you reach save harbor. have faith, get grizzly as you say and choose the good over the seductive deception and lies.  Chad Theodore, remember how your father taught you to work?  With a smile, some laughter and a tune on your lips?  There is a great deal of work at hand, don’t loose faith, get buisy and enjoy your fellow Americans that toil shoulder to shoulder with you as you all with faith make good decisions along the good race and good fight.

I must stop here as you all have a lot of work to get done.  We all are, everyone of your pioneer and founding forefathers, pulling for you!  We will one day recount the victories and challenges you are about to take on but until then, may God Bless you!

E. W. Everson

A Collection of Quotes on the Threat of Socialism

By admin, 9 November, 2008, No Comment

Here is a great start on a collection of Quotes on the threat of
socialism. Please add your own in the comment section and those you
find as we struggle to organize against this great threat that has just
overtaken our federal elected offices. We may not be in the seats of
power, but we are the unwavering majority of American Patriots!

~Chad Everson

  • “Democracy
and socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality. But notice
the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism
seeks equality in restraint and servitude.”

Alexis de Tocqueville quotes (French Historian and Political scientist. 1805-1859)
  • “Socialism is workable only in heaven where it isn’t needed, and in hell where they’ve got it”

    Cecil Palmer quotes

  • “The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism.”

Karl Marx quotes (German political Philosopher and revolutionary, 1818-1883)

  • “Socialism is the religion people get when they lose their religion”

    Richard John Neuhaus quotes

  • “One
of the consequences of such notions as “entitlements” is that people
who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them
something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their
    presence.”

Thomas Sowell quotes (American Writer and Economist, b.1930)

  • “Socialism in general has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it”

Thomas Sowell quotes (American Writer and Economist, b.1930)

  • “The
assumption that spending more of the taxpayer’s money will make things
better has survived all kinds of evidence that it has made things
worse. The black family- which survived slavery, discrimination,
poverty, wars and depressions- began to come apart as the federal
government moved in with its well-financed programs to “help.””

Thomas Sowell quotes (American Writer and Economist, b.1930)

  • “The
inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the
inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.”

Winston Churchill quotes (British Orator, Author and Prime Minister during World War II. 1874-1965)

  • “A liberal is someone who feels a great debt to his fellow man, which debt he proposes to pay off with your money.”

    – G. Gordon Liddy

  • “You can’t get rid of poverty by giving people money.”

    – P. J. O’Rourke

  • “You
cannot bring prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot help small
men by tearing down big men. You cannot strengthen the weak by
weakening the strong. You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down
the wage payer. You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich.
You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income. You
cannot further brotherhood of men by inciting class hatred. You cannot
establish security on borrowed money. You cannot build character and
courage by taking away man’s initiative and independence. You cannot
help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do
    for themselves.”

    – Rev. William J. H. Boetcker*

  • “How
do you tell a Communist? Well, it’s someone who reads Marx and Lenin.
And how do you tell an Anti-communist? It’s someone who understands
    Marx and Lenin.”

    – Ronald Reagan

  • “For socialists, not just the wealth, but the guilt, must be redistributed”

    Andrew Sandlin quotes

  • Socialism Sucks!

Any child asked to share candy with sibling!

  • …the
myth of socialism is far stronger than the reality of capitalism. That
is because capitalism is not really an ism at all. It is what people do
    if you leave them alone.

    Arnold Beichmen

  • “Socialism
is the doctrine that man has no right to exist for his own sake, that
his life and his work do not belong to him, but belong to society, that
the only justification of his existence is his service to society, and
that society may dispose of him in any way it pleases for the sake of
whatever it deems to be its own tribal, collective good.”

    Ayn Rand

  • “Socialism is a fraud, a comedy, a phantom, a blackmail.”

Benito Mussolini quotes (Italian dictator, 1883-1945)

  • E.
    W. Everson brought Socialism to it’s Knees with the Independent Voters
Association in North Dakota in the early 1900’s. The Myth that
Socialism can not be defeated is false. I know a man, my Great
Grandfather who did it. Although, he did not teach the next generation
to keep it on it’s knees. Four Generations later, I am here to finish
    the job he started.

Chad T. (Teddy Bear) Everson of the Grizzly Groundswell

  • “A young man who isn’t a socialist hasn’t got a heart; an old man who is a socialist hasn’t got a head.”

David Lloyd George quotes (British Prime Minister. 1863-1945)

  • “Socialism values equality more than liberty.”

Dennis Prager quotes (Radio talk show host, author, lecturer)

  • “I
could write a book on this one subject alone (if only you did
Great-Grandpa Grizzly!) That would be very interesting to see how these
imported Scalists (socialists) could come and organize the Farmers and
I.W.W.’s to gather and organization that would destroy the Farmers
first, and then all other taxpayers, and to this day there is lots of
Farmers just as blind as ever.” –E. W. Everson

    W. Everson Founder & President of the Independent Voters
Association and life long Republican of North Dakota. Pioneer, Justice
of the Peace, Farmer, Businessman, Father, Grandfather, and My Great
    Grandfather

  • “Many
people consider the things which government does for them to be social
progress, but they consider the things government does for others as
    socialism”

Earl Warren quotes (American Republican Politician and Judge, 1891-1974)

  • “Socialism is simply Communism for people without the testosterone to man the barricades”

    Gary North quotes

  • “Socialism: nothing more than the theory that the slave is always more virtuous than his master”

    Henry
Louis Mencken quotes (American humorous Journalist and Critic of
    American life who infl
uenced US fiction through the 1920s, 1880-1956)

  • ”We’re
all afloat in a boundless sea, and the way we cope is by massing
together in groups and pretending in unison that the situation is other
than it is. We reinforce the illusion for each other. That’s what a
society really is, a little band of humanity huddled together against
the specter of a pitch black sea. Everyone is treading water to keep
their heads above the surface even though they have no reason to
believe that the life they’re preserving is better than the alternative
they’re avoiding. It’s just that one is known and one is not. Fear of
the unknown is what keeps everyone busily treading water. All fear is
fear of the unknown. If someone in such a group of water-treaders
betrays the group lie by speaking the truth of their situation, that
person is called a heretic, and society reserves its most awful
punishments for heretics. If someone decides to stop struggling and
just sink or float away, every possible effort is made to stop him, not
for the benefit of the individual, but for the benefit of the group. To
deny at all costs the truth of the situation.”

    Jed McKenna

  • “Marxian
Socialism must always remain a portent to the historians of opinion -
how a doctrine so illogical and so dull can have exercised so powerful
and enduring an influence over the minds of men, and, through them, the
    events of history.

    John Maynard (1883 – 1946)

  • “The
socialist system, however, forbids this fundamental freedom to choose
one’s own career. Under socialist conditions, there is only one
economic authority, and it has the right to determine all matters
    concerning production.

    Ludwig von Mises

  • “Imperialism, in a sense, is the transition stage from capitalism to Socialism. . . . It is capitalism dying, not dead.

    Nikolai Lenin (1870 – 1924)

  • “The function of socialism is to raise suffering to a higher level.”

    Norman Mailer

  • “Socialism is nothing but the capitalism of the lower classes”

Oswald Spengler quotes (German Philosopher of history. 1880-1936)

  • “Less
Government When you look at our vast government and the hundreds of
billions of dollars it costs, it’s hard to find success, but easy to
find the harm that others have caused. There just aren’t many agencies
that are really indispensable to the nation’s security and well-being
those should be keept and the fat should be trimmed. It’s honorable to
attempt to reduce pain, suffering, and poverty. But it is not realistic
to expect that every citizen can be provided the same amounts of good
food, comfortable housing, and health care. It is up to the individual
to do work. In short Liberalism, socialism, and utopianism are a dead
end, just look at the former Soviet Union. If you like their system,
    maybe you should move there.

    Rush Limbaugh (1951 – )

  • “Socialism Kills like a cancer upon a societies soul”

    Teddy Bear

  • “Most
people who read “The Communist Manifesto” probably have no idea that it
was written by a couple of young men who had never worked a day in
their lives, and who nevertheless spoke boldly in the name of “the
    workers”.”

Thomas Sowell quotes (American Writer and Economist, b.1930)

  • What is a socialist? One who has yearnings To share equal profits from unequal earnings.

    William Inge (1860 – 1954)

  • “A liberal is a person whose interests aren’t at stake at the moment”

    Willis Player Quotes

  • Success is going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm.

    Winston Churchill
  • You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.

    Winston Churchill
  • To improve is to change. To be perfect is to change often.

    Winston Churchill
  • The biggest argument against democracy is a five minute discussion with the average voter.

    Winston Churchill
  • History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it.

    Winston Churchill
  • I
would say to the House, as I said to those who have joined this
Government: ‘I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and
sweat.’ We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have
before us many, many long months of struggle and suffering. You ask,
what is our policy? I can say: It is to wage war, by sea, land and air,
with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us: to
wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark,
lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what
is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all
costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard
the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival. Speech in
the House of Commons, after taking office as Prime Minister (13 May
    1940).

    Winston Churchill

  • The price of greatness is responsibility.

    Winston Churchill

  • The
inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the
inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of misery.

    Winston Churchill
  • Never
give in — never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large
or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense.
Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might
of the enemy. Speech given at Harrow School (1941-10-29).

    Winston Churchill
  • One
ought never to turn one’s back on a threatened danger and try to run
away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you
meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by
    half.

    Winston Churchill
  • For
myself, I am an optimist — it does not seem to be much use being
anything else. Speech at the Lord Mayor’s banquet in London
    (1954-11-09).

    Winston Churchill
  • We shall show mercy, but we shall not ask for it. Speech in the House of Commons (1940-07-14).

    Winston Churchill
  • The empires of the future are the empires of the mind. Harvard University (1943-09-06).

  • Winston Churchill
  • The further back I look, the further forward I can see

    Winston Churchill
  • Every
day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will
stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending,
ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the
journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and
    glory of the climb.

    Winston Churchill
  • We didn’t come this far because we are made of sugar candy.

    Winston Churchill
  • Socialism
is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of
envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

    Winston Churchill
  • The day may dawn when fair play, love for one’s fellow men, respect for
justice and freedom, will enable tormented generations to march forth
triumphant from the hideous epoch in which we have to dwell. Meanwhile,
never flinch, never weary, never despair.

  • Winston Churchill
  • What
    is
the use of living, if it be not to strive for noble causes and to
make this muddled world a better place for those who will live in it
after we are gone? How else can we put ourselves in harmonious relation
with the great verities and consolations of the infinite and the
eternal? And I avow my faith that we are marching towards better days.
Humanity will not be cast down. We are going on swinging bravely
forward along the grand high road and already behind the distant
mountains is the promise of the sun

    Winston Churchill

  • “Socialism
is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of
envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”

Winston Churchill quotes (British Orator, Author and Prime Minister during World War II. 1874-1965

  • “The
substance of the eminent Socialist gentleman’s speech is that making a
profit is a sin, but it is my belief that the real sin is taking a loss”

Winston Churchill quotes (British Orator, Author and Prime Minister during World War II. 1874-1965)

Please add your own personal quotes and those you may find as we study how to defeat this great threat of our lifetime!

    Also,
I must ask you to look toward the Independent Voters Association of
North Dakota and their blue print to defeat socialism.  Why?  Because
    they actually defeated Socialism.

    Free Labor

    “To man, his birthright: to labor, freedom;

    to him that wants to labor, work and independence;

to him that works his dues”

    ~1860 Republican Party Platform

Free Labor is an issue that Republicans must return to discuss.  I believe this should be our platform focus once again.

“The Republican Party stands before America, not only as the Anti-Slavery Party,

but emphatically the party of FREE LABOR”

In Defense of E. W. Everson and Theodore G. Nelson

By admin, 18 September, 2008, No Comment

I shared with the world this great document tonight on Grizzly Groundswell’s Midweek Growl radio show.

    http://www.blogtalkradio.com/stations/show.aspx?stationurl=HeadingRight&userurl=GrizzlyGroundswell&year=2008&month=09&day=18&url=Midweek-Grizzly-Groundswell-Growl

This document to me is precious.  I found it at the MN history center here in St. Paul, MN.

It is a document in defence of E. W. Everson and Theodore G. Nelson who were leaders of the Independent Voters Association.  The Socialist Squirrel Non Partisan League did a hit job on them trying to destroy them as they were so effectively defeating them in campaigns.

The thing that this document does for me is that it has names of people who stood up shoulder to shoulder in defence of my great grandfather and probably my namesake, Theodore G. Nelson.  My father and I share Theodore as our middle name.  Coincidence, I doubt.

I do not know these people.  I never met any of them but I see their faces and hear their voices within the Grizzly Groundswell membership.  These great American’s live on today in those who are being called to conservative action!

I am so blessed to fight alongside you, shoulder to shoulder in this great fight!  Thank you and God Bless you!

This is a great advertisement that the IVA ran against the socialist squirrel Nonpartisan League. It amazes me that the NPL survives in the DNC today. What are they thinking?
